Oliver & Jane Do...
Watch Oliver and Jane, two clown-like femmes engage in every day activities, but with an inverted twist that challenges gender norms and notions of the feminine.

The first piece of this on-going project is called Oliver and Jane Make a Baby, a critique of the domestic goddess trope where Oliver and Jane embody silly goddess characters who baked a cake that turned out to be a baby. Our next installment is Oliver and Jane Go Swimming; a silly take on the domestic goddess troupe, water birth, our community's collective silence when talking about the functions of bodies that give birth, our community's collective silence when talking about the traumas and complications that can and do occur around pregnancy and birth giving, and the socio-economic inequality that exists around pregnancy and birth giving.
